Audio Merger

Upload multiple audio files and merge them into one continuous audio file. Files are concatenated in the order they're added — the second file plays immediately after the first ends, and so on. The tool uses ffmpeg's concat demuxer for fast, lossless merging when all files share the same codec and format.

This is useful for combining podcast segments, joining split recordings, assembling a playlist into a single file, or merging voiceover takes. Add files in the order you want them to play.

Everything runs in your browser using ffmpeg.wasm — your audio files are never uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge files in different formats?

The tool works best when all files are the same format (e.g. all MP3 or all WAV). Mixing formats may produce unexpected results because the concat demuxer copies streams without re-encoding. For best results, convert all files to the same format first.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

There's no hard limit, but very large numbers of files or very long total duration may run into browser memory limits. For typical use cases (2-10 files, under an hour total), there should be no issues.

Can I change the order of files after adding them?

Currently, files are merged in the order they're selected. To change the order, reset and re-select the files in the desired sequence.
